Emerging Hands’ Donative Drive Supports Over 30 Students in Magalang, Pampanga
In an inspiring act of solidarity and with an aim to give back to its community, the Emerging Hands, in partnership with Mr. Crimiknowlgy Educational Items Trading, held a charitable initiative for over 30 students in need in Magalang, Pampanga.
This includes collecting and donating school supplies, and conducting a feeding program, to ensure that the students receive, not just the necessary educational tools but also nutritious meals for their health and well-being.
Emerge CEO Carissa Coles shared the impetus for the project, “Our Pastor has a mission church in Magalang. He asked my support to give office supplies to the kids they teach,” she said. She further explained, “I am deeply inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Emerge proudly supports this UN goal.”
With genuine hopes for the fruitful impact of the initiative towards the beneficiaries, Ms. Coles remarked, “These kids will be inspired and feel that people care for their education.”
Meanwhile, for the part of Mr. Crimiknowlgy Educational Items Trading, founded by Christian Baptist Pastor, Rev. Paul John M Azores — a Pastor of the Freedom Baptist Church — who organizes programs and events benefiting both the spiritual and physical needs of the community, shared the solid foundation of their partnership with Emerge, “Mr. CrimiKNOWlogy Educational Items Trading honors the common ground that it has with Emerge. First, the owners are both believers of the Lord Jesus Christ; second, they are both from poverty who were blessed by God and wanted to give back; and lastly, they both strive to be successful in their field to honor and glorify God through their substance.”
Reflecting on the donation drive, Mr. Crimiknowlgy Educational Items Trading added, “We are not just doing business to earn, but God has opened the door of opportunity for us to be a blessing and His instruments of extending His love to the people. What we do was given an eternal value since it is nor becoming God’s instrument of His grace.”
Looking into the future, Ms. Coles sees optimistic opportunities for Emerging Hands initiatives to expand further, anchored on their overarching CSR vision and mission, as she reiterated, “We plan to do this every year and increase the number of donations we can give to children.”
She concluded, “We can create an impact and put smiles on the faces of these future leaders [through such community initiatives].”
